PHP/WordPress Dev (B2B)- Remote

External Security Architecture Consultant (CISO Support) – B2B We are partnering with a large international organization and are seeking a senior Security Architecture consultant to support the CISO in strengthening and scaling internal security capabilities. This is a hands-on, embedded role, working closely with business, IT, and security stakeholders across enterprise environments. The role •Embed into business and IT initiatives to define, validate, and enforce security architecture requirements •Translate business objectives into pragmatic, risk-based security controls •Provide architectural guidance aligned with enterprise security strategy and risk posture •Support cloud, data, and identity security, including Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and CASB solutions •Work with IT Operations to secure enterprise IT and OT environments •Analyze vulnerability reports and support risk-based prioritization and remediation •Contribute to security operations and incident response, acting as a senior escalation point when required •Engage with senior stakeholders and external providers, clearly communicating risks and recommendations Required experience •Proven experience in Security Architecture within complex or enterprise environments •Strong hands-on knowledge of: •Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and CASB solutions •Microsoft security stack (Azure, Entra ID, M365, Defender) •Network security across IT and OT environments •Vulnerability management and security operations models •High level of autonomy, accountability, and delivery focus •Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments Language & location requirements •Fluent German and English (spoken and written) – mandatory •EU-based candidates only •Willingness to travel regularly to Munich to work with key stakeholders Engagement model •B2B / external consulting engagement •Reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
